The first photo in the gallery—the deer lying down in the grove—is one that I've been looking to capture for some time now. I've known for a while that the deer sleep out among the pecan trees, but I haven't been able to capture it on camera. This past week, after some rainy weather, I found them resting in the grove right in front of my place.
